Scientia

In our life at this generation, you can see the big difference between technologies, from frying pans, helicopters, alarm clock to the desktop and laptop computers. All these things serve to make life easier and more pleasant. Science has nothing to say to us in these categories, merely providing aids and shortcuts. Without them, life would be no more than the struggle for survival; there would be no time or incentive to pursue higher things.

Science gives us safe food, free from harmful bacteria, in clean containers. It also teaches us to eat properly, indicating a diet balanced. The results are freedom from disease and prolonged life. Science has also improved clothing and made it more appropriate for climatic and working conditions. Home, school, office, all bear witness to the progress and application of Science.

Science has been completely beneficial to ordinary living when properly applied. When misused, it is equally harmful. Land can be poisoned by chemicals, people can suffer industrial disease, war can mobilize Science to man's own destruction. Science is a good servant, but man must remain master.

                                                     Modern Day Hero

It does not mean that every hero has its own supernatural powers. Hence, it will be called a hero when you're admiring such that person. When he or she does things that is definitely remarkable to others.
Young as I am, I look- up at a person that is such extremely cool, that I consider her as my hero. Let us call her Chopsticks as her pseudonym. I can say that she is a hero because she is so tough, she was well- built for facing difficult problems. Despite of all struggles, she remains standing with her feet. She was invulnerable. As time goes by, as I approach her and talked to her, there were more facts about her that I just knew. In that happening, I am very confident to say that she is really my hero, for I can learn her guts for me to disguise. She is my inspiration.
In the present up to the future, I can carry her wisdom in order for me to be strong also. I agree and I know, that someday, I can be as tough as her, or maybe, beyond her toughness.

SONA, where our honorable President gives his concise, studied, meaningful message to the Republic. wherein he or she states and updates all the happenings. In the country, whether good or bad news.
As I have heard his message, in his recently concluded address, I was impressed on the progress of our country although it was not that big. However, the guards of our laws rumored my attention at ONoy. Being a student, I understand how hard to lead a big mass of people. Their huge respect to them became illiterate. Behind this blur colors, Pnoy Talked about the laws and bylaws that was approved. He talked about the increased of the percentage of our economy.
All this stuffs were some of the stated notes by PNoy. I am giving thanks him to him for informing us.

Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama -sama Nating Wakasan
- July 2013

For every month of July, we celebrate the month of Nutrition, where in, we give time and importance to our health behind our miserable life.

This 2013, our government release the theme, "Gutom at Malnutrisyon, Sama -sama Nating Wakasan." The aim of this theme is to raise awareness on the need for more action in addressing hunger as part of the country's obligation to the United Nations Millenium Development Goal, to eradicate poverty and hunger. we, people, find many ways to eliminate the 'sick' of the country. In order to reach our goal, we must deal with politicians to give more actions to eliminate or lessen people who suffer from starvation. We should also encourage people to help hand in hand to be brave when it comes to money, so that they can earn for the supply of food. And last but not the least, we should concentrate on giving nutritious foods than junk foods, soft drinks, and other foods that is not beneficial to our health.
As student, I can  start my own right to lessen the people  who suffer from hunger. -''small things can make a big change."

LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES

Dear PNoy,

                  Greetings your highness!

I am deeply honored to take a chance to post my concerned to President Benigno Aquino III.

My only concern as a student of Ilocos Sur National High School, Vigan City is that you should come and visit our school even for a week. This is to see how students excel in different subjects and what kind of LEADERSHIPhave. You can also have an experience of what activities we lend to the student body.

I am not expecting big, but I am praying that this will soon happen.

Sincerely  yours,
Jaster Monloise Bana Sanico
Vigan City
