Just… Reflect!

                The third grading had just passed. And we are now at our fourth grading period. The passed grading left us remarks which we enjoyed, suffered but more on fun and stuffs.

                We tackled so many lessons that were added to our minds. Well I guess I became lazier but I think, finding myself studying in this grading isn’t that bored. Days past, as in, time flies fast, we discussed and discussed, took lectures and graded recitations. But despite of everything, I realized that all those topics that were tackled are all interesting, that’s why I find myself not bored.

                In this next or should I say, last period of our last year at high school, I am expecting that this will be more interesting and I will find myself having more fun ‘coz this is the very last grading. I hope so.

                                                        

   The True Essence of Christmas

                Christmas is celebrated every 25th of December; it is the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. People are giving and sharing gifts to one another to show their gratitude. It is where also people go from house to house to sing Christmas carols. Before the celebration of Christmas, people attend midnight masses; they go to church to cherish our God. There is this ‘Noche Buena’ in which people consider the highlight of Christmas, they serve foods and eat together at exactly midnight of 25th. This are the manifestations people do during the birth of Christ.

                 But what Christmas should be? Theoretically speaking, the true essence of Christmas is to give one another, love and peace at their hearts in order for the nation will be calm. In this case, why not celebrate Christmas every day? Nowadays, so many crimes all over the world are made. Even neighbor countries are putting gap between them because of supremacy. I believe that with Christmas, there will be no crimes. I believe that with Christmas, countries will no longer have a space; I believe that with Christmas, as long as people know the true essence of it, there will be no longer bad news seen or heard or read at publications. Love, peace, acceptance and forgiving for me is the true meaning of Christmas.

                We have own definition of Christmas and we have own ways on how Christmas should be manifested. But let us not forget, all though it’s not Christmas let’s continue to work with faith.

                                         

          

Unpredicted Wheather...

            Most people look at climate change predictions as far off concerns which can be tabled for another decade or two. After all, look how long scientists have been calculating problems associated with global warming. What many people are overlooking is how these climate change predictions are telling us that our economic and personal futures will be greatly affected by our lack of quick actions regarding how we handle this challenge now. Reducing carbon dioxide emissions is no longer a choice. It is a full blown necessity.

          There is no doubt that the steps we take now will require decades to reverse the damage that has been done to our climate. New energy technologies are being researched across the globe. Funding of these projects does not come easy because answers to viable changes in how electricity is created come from changes in economic policies that will affect how we create energy as well as how we live with new energy habits. The plans regarding how money will be spent to curtail the negative climate change predictions must be better spent on research and development of new energy alternatives such as solar and wind rather than to focus on job creation that has resulted in corporate disasters.

         Climate Change predictions show a future of weather related disasters that will become increasingly costly to human lives and treasure. Food supplies will become smaller and as a result the cost of feeding our families will increase to the point of starvation for millions of people who won't be able to afford the basics for their families. Droughts and floods will destroy crops. Water supplies will decrease. If people are educated as to the realities of continued use of fossil fuel, change to wind and solar energy as well as geothermal and hydropower will become understandable. Then there will be a greater consensus for the use of alternative energy.

                                                                    

     It is Isnt The Same, You Know...

             Equality means this: Equal rights, equal opportunities. That is it. It doesn't mean that everyone has to live the same life. It doesn't mean that everyone has to dress the same way, think the same way, speak in the same tone of voice, or believe the same errors. It doesn't mean that nobody can be distinct, or special, or eccentric, or different from people around them. Equality means: Equal rights, equal opportunities. That is it.

             In its original intent, the idea of equality was meant to assist freedom by leveling the field for people who come from rougher backgrounds. But the misuses of the idea of equality have been used instead to sabotage freedom. If everyone is forced to be the same person and live the same way, then there is no freedom. And the misuse of the idea of equality to mean sameness has been used just to do this: Destroy freedom in the communities in which this misuse of the idea of equality is being practiced.

            Equality does not mean sameness; equality means equal rights. Equal rights benefit freedom, fairness and human advancement by creating a fair field for everyone.The error of confusing equality with sameness is saboteurial to America and undermines its best qualities. And if America is to regain the world leadership in innovation or to live up to its promise of freedom, then this error must be confronted and overcome in every place that it exists.

          English Laguage: A Key To Success

              English is considered something called the lingua franca, the world's first. This basically means that the language of English is something that is basically an international language of people not speaking a mother tongue. So, it's not uncommon around the world for people to speak English if they want to communicate with someone not from their country. It is also the dominant language in many fields, such as business, science, entertainment, radio, and diplomacy.

               The use of the English language is something that is considered a requirement in many fields of business, especially in the higher echelons. Even in countries where English is not the country's primary language, a basic knowledge of English is generally required. This fact is definitely true in the fields of medicine and computing, where one is bound to have to communicate with someone that was not born in the same country that you were. And in these fields, having a lingua franca is something that definitely something that can come in handy.

              English is something of a beautiful language, and people around the world have been studying it for a number of years for them to learn it as best as they possibly can. In learning English, there can be many things that can be achieved than if not. Chances there will more than likely be a time where a person would need to communicate with someone from another country, and if it's the global language, a person definitely could be benefit from learning it! And with this global language of communication, it will definitely not be an effort in vain.
